Housing association residents overcharged huge amounts in service fees
More and more action groups are springing up to challenge increases in huge increases in service charges. Restrictions to rent and increased costs (plus falling other incomes such as ground rents) has led to some HA’s just increasing charges to cover deficits or so it is claimed. Increases in regulation have also led to major additional costs.
