I’m not sure thats correct Peter but I stand to be corrected.
Regulation 13ZA Restrictions on Rent Increases gives power to the LA to restrict.
Para 1(b) ..”In the case where an increase which takes place less than 12 months after the date of the previous increase, that the increase is unreasonable having regard to the length of time since the previous increase”.
The regulations do not appear to ban all increases within the 12 months period, but does give power to restrict.
In the case of increasing energy charges, I suggest a little leeway might be called for and unless the increase is unreasonable, you accept it.
