the YOUNGER person needs to be tghe claimant for the JSA/IS ESAir claim for HB to continue.
A SDP has nothing to do with HB carrying on. It only helps if thery “jump ship” and claim UC just before becoming pension age – they will then get a 2 week run from HB which they dont do if HB ends because theyve become a mixed age couple.
