That’s what I can’t understand – why would breakfast/lunch have a different value to lunch/dinner? The DWP deductions are based on breakfast only, 3 meals or more and anything in between is half-board (even one meal is half-board/part-board as long as that meal isn’t breakfast. Why do they think it’s up to them to decide values that the DWP have always set and haven’t changed. Seems someone up there in the RO policy/procedure division is laying down their own rules. They shouldn’t have different values. Just hoping someone at the RO is on HBINFO and can provide some kind of explanation because what we’ve been sent is nonsense to me.
