We’ve received some cases that the DWP have given us, its a list of European Union Settlement Scheme Backfill exercise cases where the person has been allocated a NINO but has been refused settlement status.
The NINO’s on the list are all partners on our HB claim. my question is as it is the partners whom have been refused immigration status should we be cancelling the full claim or can we still pay the claim including the partner (without settlement status) on the claim? otherwise in all our case instances the claimant would be classed as a lone parent as the households include dependants.
Not really sure what we would do with these cases, they are currently live cases in payment of HB.
Thank you in advance.
