Reply To: Absence substantially exceeding 52 weeks

We have a similar situation. Our customer was admitted to hospital in March 2022 and has not returned home for an overnight stay at any time in that period. They have had a number of day visits only. The customers representative has argued that the day visits should reset the temporary absence period and start it again. I’m pretty sure that’s not the case. Any advice would be useful.
