Darren….I think you are fully entitled to do all the checks. Indeed, Government is demanding this and talking about urgent investigations as temporary accommodation and social housing appears more and more on social media and mainstream TV at peak times.
The standards of the accommodation provided seems to get worse and this in social ….who have been given a lot of exemptions (and have been trusted much more than private landlords). Meanwhile rents and charges have soared and the cost of exempt is obscene.
