No I don’t think so John. But then IVA providers do as they like and make it up as they go along. A new report has pointed out how broken the IVA system has become. No one really understands the rules and they seem to be exempt from FCA jurisdiction. Will be included in the next hbinfo newsletter.
I would just refuse myself and say if they try to do this the Council lawyers will apply to the county court to have this set aside.
