I just can’t believe that she is not protected in anyway and for once, was hoping we had done the claim wrong!
I don’t believe that LA assisted NAS. NAS just keep saying that all care is now with ETrust.
The carers who worked for NAS have transferred across to the E Trust, therefore nothing at all has changed for the customer. It is just unfortunate that she received inheritance which resulted in her pre 1996 scheme HB claim ending.
I’m not sure who has the legal responsibility for care/support, customer does have a deputy acting on her behalf.
LA have instructed ETrust who provide the care/support.
