I think so … it looks like a simple case where the mutual exchange officially takes place on the Monday, but both parties prefer to move on the Saturday before and so agree to do so. Personally, I don’t see a gap in eligibility for HB and the need to apply for UC. But I would like to look at these actual regulations. I remember from earlier posts that a number of parties took the view that, as long as there was HB in both weeks, a move to UC was not required, even if there were a couple of days’ break, but I can’t seem to fimd those posts now.
