you csant not pay someone HB who is eligible for it just because of a mistake with a different benefit….
the regs say HB is payable for someone on UC if they lice in temp accommodation/ supported accommodation
Customer prob claimed both to cover thier backs while the decsion was made – you cant blamethem
but if you are satisfied HB is payable. then is payable from when you received the claim/ theey moved in.
