I wonder if the windfall is actually her going into supported accommodation and then him selling her former home?

If the money actually came from her then let’s be clear that he cannot buy it and rent it to her. She would be the owner and thus there could be no rental liability.

I’m not sure this would be financial abuse given that he’s PoA and seems likely have used her capital to better her housing situation albeit possibly in a confused way. However, definitely worth establishing where the capital came from and raising with ASC in case they already have related concerns.
