I worked at an LA that had UC as passported – it was very expensive and seemed inheritantly unfair – 2 customers live next forr to each other – work for same company get same wage – on on HB, CTC and WTC, the other on UC – the one on UC gets full CTB wherasd the other one has a 20% taper for every pounf over applicable amount –
and the drop was a cliff edge – from paying nothingh to having to find £120 a month when income had only increased by a tiny amount to float them off UC
