The term SSH has no significance in HB, it’s only relevant to the regulation of RPs (SSH is exempt from the usual core rent limits that RPs must stick to). Supported living is often SSH, but it doesn’t have to be and a fair amount of it is provided by non-RP landlords like EHSL.
The risk for them is that they don’t provide more than minimal support themselves and the commissioned care provider is the only provider of care/support – that would mean LHA applies.
The risk for you is that EHSL has a more than minimal complementary support role which is enough to satisfy the “exempt accommodation” definition and your subsidy is restricted by reference to a CRR.
