I was wondering if anyone was having new service charges for assistive technology now included for things like a lightwave hub, motion detection lights, Alexa’s and smart bulbs. We have a new property where the adults have more complex needs and so these items I would have thought assist with the turning on and off of lights, heating and possibly opening of curtains amongst other things.
As the lightwave hub and alexa’s are movable items and generally for support, would anyone consider these as support and so not eligible but the motion detection lights and smart bulbs as eligible? They have only declared a line rental charge and nothing for wifi so not sure if this incorporates the both.
