Its taxable Income so it ‘belongs’ to the claimant

It is then being paid as Maintenance so unless there is something I have missed its been many years since we were able to disregard this.

If he had a Pension Splitting Order which may not have existed when he was divorced then that would have meant that the income was nothing to do with him.
