We are seeing an increase here in Kirklees but as you say nothing like the numbers we were expecting each month – If all those we thought would be invited in the 8th April to 8th July window had now moved we’d have received in excess of 1500 notices based on our share of the national picture (rather than any real caseload analysis so there is a good margin for error in that). So far we have received 708 and would ordinarily have had 450 natural migration in that period so the increase has only been around 250. We will I think see a significant increase this month as the failed to migrate cohort are cancelled. That is also a worry from a crisis support, Local Welfare, Household Support Fund perspective as we probably see a significant increase in numbers of folk finding they have no money for a period – happy days
