My reason for alerting list members to the site’s existence was principally to get feedback on it (and many thanks to those who have commented!). Its use, or not, by local authority staff is entirely up to you. In terms of your customers, if they have access to the internet you could (if you thought it appropriate) make them aware that web-based calculators are available. However, for the majority the Pension Service phone line is probably the best way of finding their entitlement, assuming they can get through that is.
