please could someone confirm my understanding below on the changes .

  • If a customer is in receipt of UC with earnings. If their UC assessment period earnings are £616.67 or under then they qualify for FSM.
  • If there is is more than one UC assessment period then you can average them out (assessment periods 1-3) and if the customer's earnings are £616.67 or under they qualify for FSM.
  • If their earnings on the UC assessment period is over the £616.67 then they dont qualify

lastly –  which earnings figure are we looking at? is the the take home pay (after tax and ni) or the amount after UC have applied their own disregards?
