Just a thought, but if you have to cancel a claim back and award UE would this have to be based on LHA?
e.g. Customer, in receipt of JSAIB, receiving “normal” HB based on a CRR of £100 per week. September 2008 we receive a notification that they had a one-week break due to working in June 2008. We cancel the claim back to June creating an overpayment for the period June to September. We then have to look at UE for the overpayment period. If the LHA is a lower amount than we were paying under normal HB, e.g. £80 per week, would this be the maximum amount we can pay for UE for the overpayment period?
