What is interesting in this example is what if the brothers pay far more than the market rent? For instance the liablity is £300 per rent for the three-bedroom property; the LHA for a three-bedroom property in the BRMA is £170 per week.

Under the current HB rules, the Rent Service figures would deal with this but under LHA?

Why should the brothers pay so much above the market rent? That isd their choice. Oh and they are renting from a relative who is clued up on the LHA scheme. LOL
