Between April and Decmber the claimant actually had the extra money.
Following December the ongoing TC was reduced and you reduced your record of the TC income accordingly.
Next year the claimant’s TC award will be reduced to take account of the remaining overpayment.
You will take account of only this reduced amount next year.
This leaves everyone square. (I think….)
