Indeed, thanks Dayglow. Appreciated….looking at para 33 of "Morrell " . I accept that there is a strong argument to say financial support from father in this case has the 'character of income' , to borrow an expression from the decision as our chap is expected to repay it.
Am proposing that our department look at our overall policy re 'Voluntary ' & 'Charitable' payments where a claimant expects to repay the money that they our receiving from relatives & friends.
