There is no minimum requirement. I think most authorities now take a risk based approach to Quality assurance which also is the External Audit approach. For example External audit picked up during the subsidy audit that errors were made in the calculation of Overpayments so we Quality check every overpayment over £500. We also carry out quality checks in high risk areas such as changes to customers bank accounts.
