Para 1.25 of the LHA Guidance Manual (updated paragraphs for which were circulated only last week by the way) states that Abbeyfield Homes are eligible for HB.The only issue raised therein is whether it is registered with the Housing Corporation as an RSL, in which case it would fall outwith the scope of LHA and come under the provisions of the HB scheme.
