Not my field at all but I’m curious about how the allocation to risk groups is made.
The circular – A20/2006 – gives some statistical properties for each group once allocated (some of these are very general – ‘aged around 35’ ; some quite precise ‘86% of claimants in this group are passported’) but doesn’t seem to say how the allocation is done. Is the case that DWP do the allocation and they’re using an undisclosed metric?
