i think you are correctthat you dont go back – the idea s that the assessment perod is so much longer than with employed earnings that the customer may not be aware – and we wouldnt revise every few weeks with self employed just because they were doing better/worse than the previous month
If you can identify a change of circs (changed cab firm?, started routinely doing weekends instead of mid week shifts etc0 then you can re-assess, but re assessing just because their income isn't permissable. (but Im an old dinosaur !)
