Hmmmm. The claim was valid, i.e. eligible, just not completed. Clearly a UC claim does not have to be completed/processed for the DWP to send the stop notice, just made, i.e. submitted subject to provision of any required info etc.
The fact that stop notices are sent at the point a claim is made, not completed, seems an odd way to set things up if people can simply pull out before completion and reclaim HB. But this is the DWP….. :puzzled:
