I tend to agree with you. The design of the UC scheme builds in delays. The 'waiting days' thing was always extremely unfair , in my opinion. Maybe they are going to send out 'indicative' payment after 2 weeks, and then adjust the 'normal' monthly payment at the end of the first assessment period . In other words, they will make advance payments of UC without the customer having to apply for it???
