Thanks Jason, it was more of the date when to award from. The DfE have stated that we should award a free school meal from the end of the month assessment in which UC entitlement is confirmed.
My query to DfE:
Universal Credit date of claim: 01/08/2017
Universal Credit entitlement date: 08/08/2017
Universal Credit entitlement confirmed: 20/09/2017
First assessment period 08/08/2017-07/09/2017
Second assessment period 08/09/2017-07/10/2017
Would the fsm entitlement begin on the 07/09/2017 as this is the end of the 1st assessment period when UC is confirmed or would it begin on the 07/10/2017 because this is the end of the assessment period when UC is confirmed.
Or even though UC is not confirmed until 20/09/2017 would fsm entitlement begin on the 08/08/2017 which is the UC entitlement date.
Does that make sense?
