Thanks peter – you prompted me to read it again and I agree, but further to that each of the “Parts” define who they apply to, and of course the definitions are slightly different.
The net result of course is worse than I anticipated in that there are effectively two sets of regs. One for pensioners and one for non pensioners, but it will be up to us to remember somehow that there is more than one version of the same reg.
Would it not have been much easier to have two distinct sets of regs.
I hope no one else reads it as I did originally and assumes that BP’s stop for all claimants, easy to do if you don’t read the whole thing line by line !
