Just one extra room.
The key to it whether the claimant is a person who requires overnight care – that status is achieved by having one or more carers regularly staying over.
Having established that the claimant is such a person, Reg 13D makes the following provision:
The claimant shall be entitled to one bedroom for each of the following categories of occupier …and one additional bedroom in any case where the claimant or the claimant’s partner is a person who requires overnight care (or in any case where both of them are).
In other words, the Regs do not specify an extra room per carer, they specify an extra room per claimant and/or partner who requires overnight care
