    Claim made for 2AR
Claimant has her daughter & granddaughter living with her. Daughter iro IS as a single parent.
    2AR of 25% awarded.

Daughters partner moves in but his income/hours worked do not affect her entitlement to passported benefits.

Do they count as one second adult (as a couple) & therefore the 25% remains OR
Are they counted as 2 second adults with 1 not iro the relevant benefits in his own right (even though his income is ignored) and therefore a reduction to 15%

    Thanks in advance

Her entitlement to IS is based on her being a single parent. If she’s now living with her partner she is not a single parent any more. Are you sure the DWP are aware of the situation?

If they are a couple and IS remains in payment for whatever reason, SAR would be payable at 25%.
