    Hi

Our ALMO are setting up a charitable arm due to the need for extra housing in the North East.

They have acquired 30 properties to be let to general needs. They will not be providing care, supervision and support.

They are still a social landlord with a charitable status. Do you have any suggestions under what tenure we should pay this rent ?

    Many thanks

The charitable status has no effect on the tenure.

If the ALMO is a “[b:cc36874969]Registered[/b:cc36874969] Social Landlord” then not subject to LHA if they are not registered then they are subject to LHA
