Can anyone share any thoughts/recent experience about whether appeals by e-mail without a signature fall foul of the requirements of Tribunal Procedure rule 23(6). I have such a case. On receipt of the e-mail, the LA wrote to the appellant, asking him to sign an appeal in order for it to be duly made. He hasn’t responded. I would have thought that the appeal isn’t duly made and ought to be struck out … but not sure how this fits in this technological age.

I suggest that you send it to the TS as they have the final say on whether or not an appeal should be admitted/duly made.
