Can anyone please advise what decision they have taken with regards to other changes due to WTC/CTC changes?

Are you doing anything to pre-empt a supporting change? Or are you putting a paragraph in your letter to advise that WTC/CTC has been amended, which indicates another change in circumstances – and advise the customer they have a duty to report the change……..and so on?

What’s happened to underlying entitlement in all this?
Should we not be establishing that before creating an overpayment, or is that just us?

From the training we attended, we were under the impression that the ATLAS file was to be uploaded and claim amended the day it was received and an insert in the letter to advise the customer to contact with relevant changes – as the onus is on the customer to report changes?

Hi, we’re doing the same as you Claire, the adjustment letter has been given a standard paragraph that advises them to check through the letter and notify us of anything that has changed. We’re only suspending claims to prevent overpayments where it is obvious fromt he tax credits that something major has changed.

Thanks for that – was worried we were way off the mark!

Will continue as we are – thanks again
