Hello, we’ve had a claim today where on the ATLAS download the claimant’s regular tax credits are paid 4 weekly, lets say the 4 weekly figure is £150.00, the ATLAS record screen shows these regular payments as 4 weekly.
But there are also 2 one-off payments in the tax credit download and in the ATLAS Record screen these are detailed as weekly, the amount of the payment is close to the 4 weekly payment, and we have checked CIS and the amounts are correct. Before ATLAS we would have used these one-off payments over a 4 weekly period, (correctly as far as I am aware).
I think this may be because on CIS there is no payment frequency against the one-off payments, and perhaps Academy defaults these to weekly.
Has anyone else seen incorrect data like this? We are going to contact Capita, but I’d like to think it’s not just us. :~

    Hi Marcia,

Just come across the same issue here. I suspect the answer will be that we have to edit the record before we download it but if Capita say anything different I’d be interested to know.

Phew!!! To be honest I’m not sure if I’m relieved that it’s not just us, 🙂 or worried that there’ll be more :(( . If I find anything out from Capita I’ll post it here!!

We have had a few like this. We have just manually edited it the record via Atlas and input 4- in front of Weekly(show it shows as 4-WEEKLY) in the frequency column. Atlas will then re-calculate the input date. Hopefully you have the permission to Edit the atlas record 🙂

    Hope that helps

Yes we’ve edited them too, but I didn’t really want to be editing anything. 🙁
I’ve heard that Capita know about this, due to be fixed in phase 2. (I can hardly wait!)

We’ve had a few funny things where we have had no choice to edit – such as
    – two one-off payments with the same effective date – atlas seems to use the higher
    – A one-off and a regular with the same effective date – Altas used the one-off amount (as it was higher) up to the next TC change in april 2012.

I like the idea of Atlas as i think its one of the better things that DWP have done but not not as simple as click to update and thats it. Other factors need to be considered why WTC has ended or CTC etc.

We have the added problem of being one of the LA where DWP have messed up out office name with another LA when DWP did the scan to change all the Atlas interests over.

    All good fun 🙂

We have had 9 One-offs that have been 4 weekly but Academy have entered as weekly since we went live. Not a good selling point, having to check and change, so much for the 3 clicks and its done! :((

You all might want to have a read of the Capita Benefits Customer Information doc for July 2011 ( this is different to the Benefits Customer Update for July 2011 ). There are one or two Atlas related issues on there!
