    Hi Academy Users

Have any of you been having difficulties with the Atlas module not fitting on your screens. Our office have 19″ monitors using the resolution as 1024×768. The only way to fit the Altas on screen is using resolution 1280×768 but this makes all the wording very hard to read. I’m aware that academy are working on a patch by putting in scroll bars but this will make it time consuming and awkward for assessors to use it. We have tried atlas on 24″ monitor and it fits perfectly but this is not a viable option.

Have any other users had difficulties? Let me know as we have raised this with Academy but they say its industry standard.

    Thanks

    Hi Rob

Are you raising it as an issue with Capita – we have down this but they have turned a blind eye and are basically saying tough – the program is made to industry standard and to lump it.

No as we are looking to fix it locally. Use Thin client and IT think they can resolve.

Currently running a combination of 17″ & 19″ monitors with a display setting of 1280 x 1024 with no problems. This makes anything displayed sharper in appearance so users have been given the option of this or frames not fitting. The majority have elected for this and the rest we are sending to Specsavers!!

Thats what I have changed my resolution to – 1280 x 1024 but find it too small to read and suffer from eye strain and fatigue in the evening when using Atlas all day – have had eyes checked and there fine. Its just disapointing that this wasnt tested and made to fit a normal screen size. There is a lot of wasted space that could be cut down so it fits on a normal sized screen. Several of our users are putting up with the small resolution but suffering with eye strain and fatigue. To use it with the scroll bars and it missing the quick links makes is uneffecient.
