We are all waiting with baited breath for 5th now but whilst training, I have a query to which I am not sure of the answer and wonder if anyone could help me.

If an assessor does not end the ATLAS interest code, we might get a match for someone who no longer lives within our area.

Can I ask what other LA’s will be doing with these?

Would you send the information on to the new LA by printing out the file, using GCSX to advise them of a change?

I think the DWP response will be “The theory is that even if an authority forgets to end their interest, the new authority would update the CIS if and when they get a new claim. The likelihood of two authorities both forgetting to update the CIS is negligible and therefore there will be no need to contact them”.
