😯
Sorry if this sounds daft but don’t normally deal with tax credits. If someone has been getting wtc/ctc & has now got the new award for this year, when are you taking the new income in from i.e., the notification date or April 2004? Also. new award letters give forward notice of 2005/06. What are you doing with these?
Thanks and apologies again if this sounds daft!

[b:1e4c3e51f8]New Awards[/b:1e4c3e51f8]
New awards taken into account from award letter date.

From April 2004 to award letter date will be covered by “provisional” payments of Tax Creds. These are based on the amount of the finalised award for 2003/4 – but with only the gross figure used – i.e. no adjustments for overpayment recovery.

Ignore for now

See QuickCalc website at www.quickcalc.net for range of TC award calc tools and help notes about determining amounts to take into account.

PS – it doesn’t sound daft
