    Good morning.

If your benefit recovery teams call out to chase payments, what time in a morning do they start calling.

How early do you think is too early to call?

What time in the day do you find you get the most response from calling out.

    Many thanks.

    🙂

We operate a 9-5 office for receiving calls, however we may call people after 5 say up to 7 simply because some people work later.

I wouldnt appreciate anyone phoning me before 9 to ask for money unless I had already told them that it was ok to do that.

    😯

Just thought I would get this post to the top of the board again as I am starting to look at working hours again. 😳

    Many thanks.

When working for the CSA payment recovery type team we would call anytime between 8am and 9pm. 🙂

We got the best response in the evening between 5 and 7.

We normally avoidied calling when Eastenders or Coronation Street was on… 🙄

    Hi,

where I worked previously, a dedicated council tax team (2 people part time) worked 3:30pm – 7:30pm (after the school run finishes but before evening TV)

They did bounced DD’s (“can I take card payment?”),
Getting cash payers on DD when they missed a payment

I seem to remember additional staffing in May/June for 1st installment missed getting cash payers onto DD also (spreading the missed installment as an incentive)

    hth
    good luck!
