bit of a disagreement here – i was under the impression that the capital limit for income support and JSA(ib) was now £12,000. however someone here is adamant it is £16,000

any ideas – it is getting close to a wager being made

According to Rightsnet and CAB websites the limit is £16,000

It is £16000, I belive it went up in April last year to bring it inline with other benefits.
