    Is anyone aware of any countries (other than Zimbabwe) that have restrictions on the access to / or transfer of currency out of the country?

    Tunisia has restrictions on taking money out of the country

    Try Jamaica. I also suspect that Cuba will have some sort of prohibition but I don’t know about that

    Do I know what I'm doing? The jury's out on that........................

    Thanks.

    Does anyone know of a website or other resource where we could check these things? I’m specifically thinking about where a customer tells us that they have capital abroad, but they are unable to access it etc. I could do with somewhere where we could refer to and double-check.
