This may have been covered before, but I can't find it.

If we have a claim which will move to CTS from CTB where the clmt is pension age with a partner who is not and they received WTX and CTX, currently they receive a full disregard on the CTX.

What will the postion be after April as I am struggling to find anything to maintain disregard in default scheme/Prescribe Regs.

CTC isn’t listed under DS para 39 of the schedule so it isn’t income in pensioner cases [similarly PR sched 1 para 16]

If you’re worried about the assymetry for mixed-age couples then, yes there could be a problem, and you might need to make the older partner the applicant.

And if you’re an Academy site the disregard isn’t being calculated unless you have installed patch 64.20/64.52

    Friday

Thanks, am now watching my ten year old do his swimming lesson. Life was so much more simple then.
