I am currently writing a report for my manager about the use of closed period supersessions and have attached a poll to see how other Councils are dealing with this issue.
I also have a couple of queries:
1. Has any Council spoken to their external auditors to see how they will view the use of closed period supersessions when checking the 2009/10 subsidy claim?
2. It seems common consensus that you cannot use closed period supersessions in advance. Have Councils not been using these with rent free weeks for many years?
