Commissoner Jacobs recently set aside a tribunal’s decision following an appeal from my authority (CH/2529/2005).

The claimant has asked for leave to appeal it but the Commissoner has refused. The claimant is now appealing to the Court of Appeal.

I’ve had a look around to find some information about procedures at this level and have found very little hence my posting here!

Its unlikely in my opinion that the Court of Appeal will grant leave to appeal either. However, does anyone know if the Court of Appeal advises the authority that the claimant has appealed to them and whether leave is granted? I would like to think we would be informed but working in appeals, I take nothing for granted!

Not had to deal with anything like that myself before, but you would think that seeing as you are a party to the appeal, then they would have to notify you.

However like you say this is appeals so means nothing.
