Date Cleansing PM1 – new claim stats

    I am currently writing up procedures for cleansing anomalous dates from the BVPI data and have a query regarding the following scenario;

    Rent referral sent via VICTER, 2 weeks elapses and its still not come back, we chase it up via phone and discover that the decision has been made but the return decision failed on the VICTER interface.

    LAs can run VICTER reports on failed referrals but can the LA cleanse off the extra days taken so they don’t add to the days to process?




    Don’t see how you could justify doing that.

    It’s up to Authorities to put procedures in place to pick this sort of thing up – which you obviously have.

    You’ll have to accept it. It’s a measure of how long it takes to fully determine a claim including delays of claimant providing info and Rent Service providing a decision, which would have to include interface problems.
