Please could i have your opinions on what you would do with the following claims???
1). HB claim received 03/04/06 which has not been signed and no further info has been provided.
A letter was sent asking for further info and for a signed application form.
The new claim and all further info was then received on 20/04/06.
The complete date would obviously be 20/04/06 but what receipt date would you use and why???
2). Exactly the same scenario but no response is received from the customer.
The claim should be made defective (i think) as we have not received a “properly completed” application form, but what receipt date would you use and why???
