pensioner not able to move to new property as was waiting social fund loan to buy furniture. under regs it looks like we can pay from start of tenancy as he is over 60 and waiting on social fund loan so he had somewhere to sit etc. can we pay benefit on 2 properties based on the above as regs seem bit confusing as to wether we can or not.

So long as the clmt has liability on ONE home only, HB is payable for a maximum of 4 weeks – subject to the delay being reasonable [[b:c0c40d5acd]HBR(SPC) 7(8 )(a)&(b)&(c)(ii)[/b:c0c40d5acd]].

[b:c0c40d5acd]BUT[/b:c0c40d5acd], as the clmt has liability on [b:c0c40d5acd]2 homes[/b:c0c40d5acd], no HB is payable [[b:c0c40d5acd]HBR(SPC) 7(6)(e)[/b:c0c40d5acd]].

    Regards
