Dies on a Sunday

    If a Council tenant dies on a Sunday, when would you cancel HB from. Would it be from that day on the basis his death ends all contractual arrangements and as such there is no legal liability from the date of death or would you consider the date of change to be the next day and as he remains liable for the whole week, cancel from the following Sunday?

    Any opinions please?

    I would say the same day….the claim should end at the end of the benefit week in which the change occurs….which is the Sunday.
